Rodney Maiden, LLC Member, became vegan in 2017 as a way to support his wife in her journey with Multiple Sclerosis. Rodney Maiden is the primary caregiver for his wife, who has battled with MS for over 20 years. After watching What the Health and reading Dr. Baxter Montgomery’s research on plant-based diets healing autoimmune diseases, he and his wife quickly made the choice to go 100% vegan. Since then, Rodney has noticed improvements not only in his wife’s overall health but his health as well. At the age of 65, Rodney lives a complete, full and active life. Rodney works out daily and enjoys physical activities such as riding his bike, playing golf, lifting weights and running around with his granddaughter. People often mistake Rodney for appearing much younger than his age and he attributes that to a healthy diet. Rodney states that since going vegan, he has had much more stamina and feels like he is in the best shape of his life. Rodney is an advocate of others adopting a healthier lifestyle in order to promote longevity and wellness.
